And I'm glad I did.  Volume 8 of Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works gets to the heart of the controversy that still surrounds him. Imprisoned for participating in a plot to assassinate Hitler, Bonhoeffer is a surprisingly prolific writer. Many volumes in the series are thick.
